تعرّف التوصية ITU-T G.8032/Y.1344 بروتوكول تبديل الحماية التلقائي (APS) وآليات تبديل الحماية للطوبولوجيات الحلقية للشبكة في طبقة الإثرنت (ETH). وترد التفاصيل المتعلقة بخصائص الحماية الحلقية للإثرنت ومعمارياتها وبروتوكول تبديل الحماية التلقائي (APS) الحلقي. وتحدِّث هذه المراجعة المراجع، وتزيل بنوداً كانت تُعتبر سابقاً بحاجة إلى مزيد من الدراسة وتدرج مصطلحات سبق أن عُرِّفت في التوصية ITU-T G.8001/Y.1354 (2016).
ويوضح التصويب 1 أن عملية ETH_C_MI_RAPS_PortIds [0.1] تنطبق على مجموعة من نقاط تدفق الإثرنت (ETH) وأن إعادة تسيير تدفق الإثرنت (ETH_FF) هي عملية على النحو الموصَّف في التوصية ITU-T G.8021/Y.1341 ويصحح أخطاء صياغية في الشكل 1-10.
