WSIS: Summit of Solutions

The WSIS Souvenir Book "Summit of Solutions" traces the history of the World Summit on the Information Society from Geneva to the Tunis phase. WSIS Tunis was held 16-18 November 2005 in the vicinity of ancient Carthage. The book conveys the ambience of the Summit itself along with round table discussions and parallel events, such as some of the 300 related workshops and seminars along with the ICT4All Exhibition. It is prefaced with a message from UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan and a foreword by Yoshio Utsumi, ITU Secretary-General and Secretary-General of the Summit, and contains statements from the Opening Ceremony. The Summit Outcome Documents are available as a separate attachment. The 100-page book is illustrated with some 250 colour photographs; a picture gallery includes Heads of State and Government who attended the Summit along with other high-level dignitaries and participants. WSIS - Helping the World Communicate
