Motivation
There is already a rapporteur group on this subject, at the parent group level and also groups at the regional level. Members have already submitted contributions on this topic in many regions.

Question
Relevant market definition and identification of operators with significant market power – SMP.

Tasks
- The study of relevant Market definitions, with a view to enabling Member States to identify where significant market power exists (or other kinds of market dominance).
- Determination of whether regulatory asymmetries may be needed, in special measures to help ensure transparency and equality in any relevant markets.
