Unlocking Partnerships for Universal Connectivity and Digital Transformation

The World Telecommunication and ICT Policy Forum (WTPF 26) brings together governments, industry, civil society, development partners, and international organizations to shape forward looking digital policy and advance universal meaningful connectivity and sustainable digital transformation. New forms of partnership and collaboration will be essential to translate these ambitions into practical action.

Progress is often slowed by fragmented regulation, unequal access to infrastructure and technology, limited institutional capacity, high perceived risk, and insufficient collaboration between public and private actors. Addressing these barriers requires practical dialogue between those shaping policy and those delivering programmes, investment, technology, and services.
 
Leveraging the Partner2Connect pledging framework of Access, Adoption, Enabling Environment, and Accelerating Investments, the Partner2Connect Solutions Lab will provide participants with an opportunity to share commitments, exchange practical experiences, and identify partnerships that can help accelerate inclusive and sustainable digital development across regions.

Objectives
The session aims to translate global policy discussions into partnership and collaboration opportunities by:
– Identifying the most pressing barriers across regions
– Showcasing practical collaboration models
– Developing recommendations to accelerate universal meaningful connectivity and sustainable digital transformation, including the diffusion of emerging technologies such as AI
– Strengthening collaboration through the Partner2Connect community.

Important information on how to join

The Partner2Connect Solutions Lab will take place on 1 September 2026, during the Strategic Dialogue day ahead of the WTPF Forum. The P2C Solutions Lab will take place in-person only. As places are limited, participation will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

All participation requests will be reviewed by the P2C Secretariat in accordance with WTPF-26 participation guidelines and the availability of seats in the session. Approved participants will receive further guidance on how to complete their WTPF-26 registration, if not already completed.
