Protecting Children in the Age of AI: From Principles to Collective Action
The P2C Community Webinar is a moment to bring the extended Partner2Connect community together: to share the latest updates, celebrate collective milestones, recognize the pledgers turning commitments into impact, and look ahead to the opportunities still to come in 2026.
This edition will put child online protection in focus, at a time when AI, social media and online platforms are creating new opportunities for children but also new and growing risks. The session will spotlight the Joint Statement on Artificial Intelligence and the Rights of the Child, a collaborative call to action led by ITU and endorsed by 13 UN bodies, international organizations and UN mandate holders.
Through an In Focus conversation and inspiring stories from P2C pledgers already advancing child online safety, participants will explore how we can make the digital environment safer, more inclusive and more empowering for every child. The webinar will also be a call to action: inviting every pledger to support the Joint Statement and translate its principles into practical steps through their own policies, products, programmes and partnerships. Protecting children online is a shared responsibility, and the P2C community has an important role to play.
An ITU User Account will be required to submit your registration. All registration requests will be subject to approval by the P2C Secretariat. Your participation is highly valued as we continue strengthening collaboration and driving meaningful impact across the digital development ecosystem.
