SocialTech Lab is a peace innovation non-profit based in Nicosia, Cyprus - Europe’s last divided capital. For the past 9+ years, we've worked at the intersection of technology, entrepreneurship, and peacebuilding to bridge divides, empower local change-makers, solve social and environmental challenges, and cultivate resilient innovation ecosystems in conflict-affected regions such as the Eastern Mediterranean, Middle East, and Western Balkans. Through its platforms, SocialTech Lab provides transformative digital tools (e.g., e-learning, AI tools, mobile apps), innovation programs (e.g., accelerators, incubators, venture builders) and physical spaces (e.g., the first innovation center in a military Buffer Zone) that enable local entrepreneurs to thrive, driving economic growth and social progress in even the most challenging environments.
