On 23 April 2025, the President of the United Nations General Assembly has appointed H.E. Mr. Ekitela Lokaale, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kenya to the United Nations, and H.E. Ms. Suela Janina, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Albania to the United Nations, as co-facilitators to lead the overall review of the implementation of the outcomes of the World Summit on Information Society. 

The WSIS+20 Review is In December 2025, the UN General Assembly will conduct a high-level meeting to review the outcomes of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS), known as the WSIS+20 review. This review will assess progress made in implementing the WSIS vision and outcomes over the past two decades and will chart the future direction for the information society. 

Join us in this session for an interactive conversation that sets the direction for this landmark milestone. Building on twenty years since Geneva (2003) and Tunis (2005),
