Since 2015, stakeholders have worked to align the WSIS Process with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, integrating digital technologies into strategies that support the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Now, 20 years since the inception of WSIS, this milestone moment offers a unique opportunity to reflect on collective achievements, acknowledge remaining challenges, and respond to rapidly evolving technology trends.

Pursuant to Article 109 of the Tunis Agenda, the twentieth meeting of the UN WSIS Action Line Facilitators will take place within the framework of the WSIS+20 High-Level Event 2025.

This session will serve to review overall progress within each WSIS Action Line and explore concrete measures to strengthen the WSIS Process, with a view toward its continued relevance and impact beyond 2025.

The session will follow a dialogue-style format, engaging all UN WSIS Action Line Facilitators in an interactive discussion. Facilitators will be invited to share key priorities, emerging opportunities, and ongoing challenges related to their respective Action Lines, with a focus on their contributions to the WSIS Process and its alignment with the 2030 Agenda.
