Meet the ones who were there at the beginning of it all. As the WSIS process marks 20 years, we reflect on a journey that has shaped global digital development through collaboration and shared vision. A key part of this journey is the WSIS Forum, which has grown into a leading annual platform, engaging over 50,000 multistakeholder participants from across the world. While the ICT sector has evolved rapidly, WSIS continues to serve as the foremost stage for bringing together goverments, the private sector, technical community, academia, international organizations, and civil society.

But what challenges lie ahead? How can we prepare for the unknown in our ever-changing digital landscape? Perhaps now, more than ever, collaboration will be crucial to answering these and other questions as we look to build a future that prioritizes equality, inclusion, skills, connectivity, and sustainability.
