Session 122

Thursday, 3 April 2025 14:00–15:00 (UTC+02:00) Physical (on-site) and Virtual (remote) participation Room A, ITU Tower Building Interactive Session 1 Document

The Open Consultation Process (OCP) lays the groundwork for shaping the WSIS Forum’s agenda and program, fostering a participatory and inclusive approach. This process invites contributions from various stakeholders—governments, private sector, civil society, technical community, academia, and international organizations—to ensure broad ownership and continuous improvements. Through consultative meetings and online submissions, the OCP collects input to shape the development of the WSIS Forum.

The 4th OCP Meeting will be the last consultation before the Final Brief meeting, providing an opportunity for stakeholders to further shape discussions and provide input on the agenda and programme of the WSIS+20 High-Level Event, taking place from 7–11 July 2025 in Geneva, Switzerland. This meeting will serve as an open platform for sharing perspectives, engaging in discussions, and advancing preparations for the Event.

This meeting will also provide updates on the ongoing preparations for the WSIS+20 High-Level Event 2025, which is co-hosted by ITU and the Swiss Confederation, and highlight key developments in the evolving digital landscape and its alignment with global development priorities.

Stakeholders are invited to take part in this important discussion.
