This Recommendation provides guidance on the deployment and application of FMSC network to support climate-related disaster risk management in other sectors. It covers the framework, application requirements, sector-specific deployment and application guidance, and evaluation and improvement. The guidance aims to facilitate the coordinated use of fixed, mobile and satellite networks to provide reliable and resilient services for climate-related disaster risk monitoring, early warning, critical service continuity, emergency response and recovery in other sectors. This Recommendation is applicable to organizations in other sectors applying the FMSC network to support climate-related disaster risk management.
