Summary:
|
Cryptographic technologies protect sensitive information for government, businesses, and critical infrastructure. However, quantum computers in the future will be able to break current cryptographic methods. This means organizations need to upgrade to quantum-safe cryptography to stay secure.
This Technical Report explains the challenges and solutions for cybersecurity in the quantum era. It offers practical advice and examples to help organizations get ready for post-quantum cryptography, even as new standards are still being developed. Organizations are encouraged to start planning now to make the transition smooth and secure. The report will be updated regularly to include new developments and feedback, helping build stronger quantum-safe digital systems around the world.
