This recommendation specifies the functional architecture and performance requirements of event-based vision cursor control system (EV-CCS) in multimedia terminals, including event data acquisition, posture estimation, low-latency communication, cursor mapping, and interface mechanisms, with the objective of providing a unified reference framework to ensure interoperability and consistency across vendors and application scenarios, reduce fragmentation and inconsistent user experiences, and enhance the reliability and scalability of multimedia terminals.
