Summary:

This proposal intends to provides the following changes based on the existing edition of k.47:
- considering optical fiber has been the primary transmission medium for telecommunication, some specific and detailed requirements are ready to be added for the protection of optical fibre cables;
- adding the protection measures about mains contact when this threat needs to be considered. It can be an Annex or Appendix.
- revising some protection measures to adapt to the development of communication technology.
- the relevant text is editorially modified.
