Summary: With the introduction and development of Digital Twin technology, the industry has reached a preliminary consensus on its core capabilities and potential value for mobile networks. However, in practical implementation, the coordination mechanism among multiple DTs working collaboratively in networks requires further in-depth study. Studies indicate that multi-DT collaboration can adopt either hierarchical (e.g., interaction between traffic models and user mobility models for AN energy efficiency optimization) or peer-to-peer (cross-domain end-to-end service coordination) patterns, with their relationships dynamically configured through Management and Orchestration. This new Recommendation proposes to provide a high-level principles or framework on how multiple digital twins collaboration and puts forwards the necessities and value for specifying the mechanism on collaboration of digital twins in IMT-2020 networks and beyond. This collaborative framework not only enables information sharing and behavioral coordination among DTs, but also allows dynamic decision-making optimization based on real-time interactions, thereby significantly enhancing overall system awareness and cooperative optimization capabilities.
