Summary:

This new Recommendation provides a design and implementation framework for smart low-carbon power supply facilities tailored to island biodiversity. Island ecosystems are highly sensitive, and the construction of smart low-carbon power supply facilities must ensure reliable power delivery while minimizing impacts on biodiversity. In order to drive the global adoption of smart, low-carbon energy solutions, the development of a unified international technical framework is essential. This framework should align with global climate adaptation and green energy goals, establishing technical standards tailored to the specific challenges posed by island environments. Key components of this framework should include intelligent site selection, biodiversity monitoring, and the design of smart power systems that ensure both reliable energy supply and minimal ecological disturbance. By promoting this framework, global cooperation can be fostered, enabling the replication of smart, low-carbon energy solutions in various regions, and ultimately advancing the shared goal of ecological and energy sustainability on a global scale. The framework will enhance the sustainability and biodiversity conservation of island ecosystems.
