Summary: Artificial intelligence (AI) applications of an IoT-based electric power infrastructure (IoT-EPI) monitoring system encompass the cloud side, management side, edge side and device side of the electric power grid. It is critical for such AI applications to ensure the security of AI infrastructure, data, AI models and AI applications to support safe and efficient electric power production and operation. This Technical Report analyses security risks and threats affecting AI applications of an IoT-based electric power infrastructure monitoring system and specifies security guidelines to mitigate those risks and threats.
