The purpose of this Recommendation is to use MR navigation system accurately and efficiently recreates the historical scenes of cultural heritage sites, provides an immersive interactive environment in the user experience, promotes technological progress in the digital protection and display of cultural heritage sites, enhances visitors' cultural experiences, and promotes the dissemination and protection of cultural heritage. This recommendation describes the requirements for MR navigation system in cultural heritage sites. This Recommendation also describes a framework for a MR navigation system of cultural heritage sites, including video capture module, 3D localization server, content creation module, content cloud server, and MR navigation client.
