Summary:
|
Architectural heritage (AH) reflects the political, social, and cultural currents of its time, and it possesses significant artistic and technical value in its own right. However, AH is threatened by natural climate change and human activities. Damage can be classified into material damage and structural damage, leading to various forms of deterioration. Recently, the increase in complex damage factors has resulted in more frequent large-scale damage. Therefore, it is urgent to establish standards for defining the types of damage and the metadata for monitoring AH to ensure effective management of this valuable heritage. The proposed new item aims to create guidelines for analyzing damage to AH captured through Closed-circuit Television (CCTV) or drones, as well as for storing and managing the resulting data. This will enable the accumulation, management, and utilization of damage data for AH and contribute to the systematization of automatic damage detection and monitoring.
