Summary:

A QKDN exploits optical fibre channels or free-space optical channels to support quantum-channel networking and provide secure keys to devices connected to the QKDN. This Technical Report studies key distribution centre (KDC)-based approaches for managing keys supplied by a QKDN so that keys generated in the QKDN can be applied to various security services and to a large number of user devices, regardless of whether those devices are mobile or fixed.
