This Recommendation defines the concept of proactive health and distinguishes it from passive health. Proactive health data collection terminal equipment (PHTE) is designed to collect and transmit various types of proactive health data in order to monitor an individual’s lifestyle and thereby maintain and enhance overall health status.
This Recommendation provides the technical requirements of PHTE. It establishes a comprehensive framework covering functionality, performance, interoperability, safety, electromagnetic compatibility, environmental adaptability, and durability. These requirements serve as a reference for the design, production, and deployment of PHTE. It provides definitions for key terms and concepts, including proactive health, proactive health data, proactive health system and proactive health data collection terminal equipment. Technical requirements for other components of the proactive health system architecture are beyond the scope of this Recommendation.
