In order to enhance the demand-side regulation capability and reduce the need for large-scale investment in power plants and transmission networks, it needs to specify the framework and functional requirements for distributed ledger technology (DLT)-based virtual power plant (VPP) operation platform. It provides guidance for the development and application of the DLT-based VPP operation platform in smart grid.
