With the emergence of convergence trends in ICT services, the demand for high power consumption, differentiated requirements for different service protection levels, lightweighting of equipment rooms and whole-life costing require the battery industry to seek multifaceted breakthroughs. It can be achieved by introducing intelligent technologies to create efficient, reliable and flexible lithium-ion batteries. This draft Recommendation introduces the development direction of intelligent lithium-ion battery technology that can be used in 5G networks and data centers. It also provides the application practices of intelligent and digital technology in the field of lithium-ion battery. It presents the subsequent stage-by-stage plan for the evolution of the backup power supply architecture by combining with the status quo of the construction of backup power supply system for 5G networks and data centers. This draft Recommendation will encourage the development, innovation and promotion of lithium-ion battery intelligent technology.
