This draft new Recommendation defines a framework for multimedia data asset valuation, which contains valuation preparation, indicator configuration, valuation implementation and valuation guarantee. In valuation preparation, the objectives, principles, objects and organization of the valuation are clarified. In indicator configuration, key dimensions and indicators are identified. This framework recommends a valuation index system contains three basic dimensions which are quality, cost and application. In valuation implementation, the minimum level of indicators and weights of indicators are recommended to be defined based on specific scenarios.
