Summary:

ASR is used increasingly in vehicles for all types of communication and commands. To ensure a good user experience a minimum of performance should be achieved. The driver should not be distracted from his driving task. This Recommendation provides a test environment and test setups for performing automatic speech recognition (ASR) tests in a laboratory type environment while simulating relevant driving and operating conditions. Measurement procedures and performance requirements are provided.
