Summary: Policymakers should support the development of next-gen "IMT2020" networks by ensuring new spectrum is available and by streamlining deployment of physical infrastructure. Existing 4G networks faces several challenges, in addressing these challenges "IMT2020" will move beyond networks built solely for mobile phones, towards networks that connects all sorts of devices, delivering greatly increased broadband capacities via numerous, less costly, and more flexible connections. "IMT2020" will also be a game changer for "MVNOs" taking advantage of features like "Network Slicing" catering and optimizing for specific SLA and QoS.
