Summary: With the rapid development of the information society, the global consumption of information has increased dramatically. As a high energy loading industry, the data center has long been described as a "big energy user", "power eating monster", etc. From 2020 to 2030, the estimated power consumption of the global data center will increase from 29.9 billion kWh to 97.4 billion kWh, with a CAGR of 12.54%. In 2030, the power demand will account for 8% of the global power consumption. If non-renewable electricity continues to be the main source of energy for the data center, the CO2 emissions of the data center may rise to the top of the global carbon emissions
