This Recommendation specifies the architectural framework of artificial intelligence (AI)-based network automation for resource management and fault management in future networks including IMT-2020. The purpose of the framework is to improve network efficiency and maintain QoS by continuously monitoring the network and promptly decide about appropriate actions by using AI including machine learning.
