Summary:
|
This Recommendation specifies a framework of software-defined security in software defined networks (SDN) and the network functions virtualization (NFV) networks. This framework utilizes key advantages of SDN/NFV technologies such as on-demand capacity scale-in/scale-out, dynamic and intelligent security policy control regarding real-time network status, separated deploy of control layer and data forwarding layer, full view of traffic for monitoring and unified security policy setting.
