对去中心化环境中的物联网(IoT)平台,当IoT实体(如IoT设备、IoT服务、IoT网关)相互交互时,在其间建立信任方面存在诸多重大挑战。IoT平台的传统访问控制解决方案(如周边控制、密码认证、虚拟专用网)无法完全应对这些挑战,尤其是当IoT实体部署在去中心化环境中时。
零信任(ZT)是一种网络安全原则,它提供了一系列概念和想法,旨在当面对被视为遭到破坏的网络时,在信息系统和服务中,依据请求访问决策执行准确和最低的权限时,最大限度地降低不确定性[b-NIST SP 800-207]。在基于ZT的访问控制解决方案中,IoT实体不再需要通过位置和安全域来确定访问权限,以发现和访问相同或不同IoT平台中的其他IoT实体。对于任何发现和访问IoT平台中任何IoT实体的请求,都需要确定这一点。因此,基于ZT的访问控制解决方案适用于去中心化环境中的IoT平台。
