Функции и метаданные услуги пространственно-временной информации для "умных" городов

В городе существуют основные элементы – люди, вещи и события. Их мобильность и позиционирование все в большей степени зависят от информации о местоположении и/или времени, которая поддерживается услугой пространственно-временной информации (STIS). Соответствующие услуги уже появились и предоставляются, однако отсутствие стандартов может препятствовать совместному использованию этих услуг, ухудшать их возможности и функциональную совместимость. Вследствие этого необходим стандарт, который определит, STIS какого типа следует предоставлять людям, вещам и событиям в "умных" городах, включая функции и метаданные STIS.
В Рекомендации МСЭ-Т Y.4562 вводятся концепции STIS для "умных" городов и определены функции и метаданные STIS. Функции и метаданные STIS могут поддерживать приложения STIS для "умных" городов, с тем чтобы более эффективно удовлетворять потребности людей, вещей и событий. Функции и метаданные являются универсальными и могут применяться к любым городам мира.
