وظائف وبيانات شرحية لخدمة المعلومات المكانية الزمانية في المدن الذكية

توجد في مدينة عناصر أساسية كالأشخاص والأشياء والأحداث. ويعتمد تنقلها وتموضعها بشكل متزايد على المعلومات المتعلقة بالموقع و/أو الوقت، التي تدعمها خدمة المعلومات الزمانية المكانية (STIS). وعلى الرغم من أن خدمات ذات صلة قد ظهرت وقُدمت، فإن الافتقار إلى معايير قد يؤثر على تناقلها وقدراتها الخدمية وقابلية تشغيلها البيني. ولذلك، يلزم وضع معيار لتوصيف أنواع خدمة المعلومات الزمانية المكانية التي ينبغي تقديمها للأشخاص والأشياء والأحداث في المدن الذكية، بما في ذلك وظائف وبيانات خدمة المعلومات الزمانية المكانية.
وتعرِّف التوصية ITU-T Y.4562 بمفاهيم خدمة المعلومات الزمانية المكانية (STIS) للمدن الذكية، وتوصِّف وظائف هذه الخدمة وبياناتها الشرحية. ويمكن أن تدعم وظائف خدمة المعلومات الزمانية المكانية وبياناتها الشرحية تطبيقات هذه الخدمة في المدن الذكية لتلبية احتياجات الأشخاص والأشياء والأحداث على نحو أفضل. وهذه الوظائف والبيانات الشرحية عالمية ويمكن تطبيقها على أي من مدن العالم.
