Key Insights
ITU-D Study Groups wrapped up their 2022–2025 study period in April and May.
Delegates approved 14 final reports, along with one revised report from the previous cycle.
Participation highlights:
- Study Group 1 (on enabling environment for meaningful connectivity) brought together 179 delegates from 52 countries. Eighty-five formal contributions were submitted for discussion.
- Study Group 2 (on digital transformation) included 167 delegates from 56 countries, with 53 formal contributions submitted.
- At WTDC-25, delegates approved 10 new study Questions for the 2026–2029 study period.
