Regional Initiatives for Africa

The ‘VaMoz Digital!’ project in Mozambique continued to support human-centric digital transformation for sustainable development and inclusive growth through policy and regulatory interventions, strengthened digital innovation ecosystems, digital inclusion, and capacity development. 

To support the scale-up of the African Girls Can Code Initiative, the self-paced course hosted on the ITU Academy online platform was enhanced under the project on digital skills for digital inclusion of Africa’s girls and youth, with financial support from Qualcomm.
