CIS5: Development of smart cities and communities
Seminars focusing on the “Digital development of administrative-territorial units” were conducted for the Mogilev and Grodno regions of Belarus with over 250 representatives of local administrations. These seminars were aligned with Belarus’s National Program “Smart City”.
A Regional Forum on Smart Sustainable Cities provided a platform to share best practices among governments, private companies, and the industry.
The online self-paced course Beyond smart cities = “Smart for all”: Towards building inclusive and digitally accessible environments and communities to meet the needs of present and future generations was translated into Russian and made available for Russian-speaking audiences through the ITU Academy.
