Upcoming ITU-D Study Group 1 and 2 meetings

The fourth meetings of ITU-D Study Group 1 and Study Group 2 for the eighth study period (2022-2025) will take place at ITU Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.

These last annual meetings before the World Telecommunication Development Conference 2025 (WTDC-25) will primarily focus on approving all deliverables for the 2022-2025 study period and concluding discussions on future topics for the next study period.

About the interim deliverables

The interim deliverables were prepared based on specific workshops conducted, and were augmented thanks to contributions of ITU-D Members submitted to ITU-D Study Groups, including the following Member States: Algeria, Argentina, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Brazil, China, Republic of Congo, Côte D’Ivoire, Dominican Republic, Ghana, Haiti, Japan, Republic of Korea, Madagascar, Mexico, Samoa, South Africa, Tanzania, Türkiye, Uganda, the United Kingdom, and Zimbabwe.

All stakeholders, especially those in developing countries, can use the insights and findings to: adapt guidelines from the report into their national policy, connect to countries and partners for capacity building and in-country implementation actions, and move closer to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), targets and their specific development priorities.
