Joseph Wotom
Joseph Wotom is a farmer and a teacher from Aitape, West Sepik Province in Papua New Guinea. He attended digital skills and e-commerce trainings organized by the ITU, conducted under the “Value chain support services strengthened and resilient to climate change impacts” initiative implemented in collaboration with FAO. This initiative is part of the EU-funded “Support to Rural Entrepreneurship, Investment and Trade in Papua New Guinea” (EU STREIT PNG), a joint programme with FAO, ILO, ITU, UNCDF and UNDP.
Inspired by the learning and the value it can bring to other farmers, he shared his knowledge on e-commerce with farmers in his village.
