At ZTE, we are fully committed to our vision: to enable communication and trust everywhere, shaping a digital future that is more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable for all.

By strengthening infrastructure and accelerating digital adoption, we are closing the digital divide, expanding access to essential services, and driving industrial transformation.

Amazon is advancing global connectivity by deploying Project Kuiper, a satellite system in low Earth orbit that will deliver reliable, high-speed, affordable broadband connectivity to underserved and unserved communities worldwide.

Project Kuiper will ensure people, households, schools, hospitals, and government facilities can participate in the digital economy, access information, and make more informed decisions, in areas where terrestrial internet infrastructure has been impractical or cost-prohibitive to deploy.

We will partner with local network operators to expand the reach of their networks while strengthening the prosperity and closing the digital divide.

Expanding access to AI through global skilling, connectivity, and infrastructure investments is essential to ensuring that every community can benefit.

As we work to diffuse AI widely and avoid the next digital divide, we also must ensure AI is trustworthy. This requires strong cybersecurity, digital resilience, and responsible AI practices.

Partnership among governments, international organizations, industry and civil society will help fully unlock inclusive economic opportunity and empower people to thrive in our digital future.

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB)’s approach to digital connectivity is aligned with the ITU’s vision for universal and meaningful connectivity, and is rooted in ensuring access to reliable, affordable and enriching digital experiences for all.

The IDB prioritizes financing solutions that generate relevant development impact by empowering the private sector and leveraging partnerships with local development banks to reach underserved communities. Through collaboration with national and subnational governments, the IDB focuses on advancing critical digital infrastructure, strengthening institutional capacities, and fostering regional integration.
