Award of prizes to the students on the occasion of the International Day of Girls in ICT

The award ceremony for the contest winners of the best poster graphic design, which was released for the occasion of the International Day of Girls in ICT, was held today at the Press Center of the Government of Montenegro.

The awards were delivered by Ivica Ivanović, general director of Promotion for Information Society andArijana Nikolić Vučinić, director of the Directorate for pre-school and primary education and education of people with disabilities in the Ministry of Education.

Awards, tablet computers, in the category of primary schools won Sofia Raso, a student of primary school"Milan Vuković" from Herceg Novi, while in the category of secondary school prize was awarded toJovani Ivanović, students of the Secondary School of Economics "Mirko Vesović" from Podgorica.

The right to participate in the competition had students of final grades of all Montenegrin elementary and secondary schools.

Ministry for Information Society and Telecommunications, traditionally celebrated on April 28 International Day of girls in ICT, together with the member countries of the International Telecommunication Union.

International day of girls in ICT is celebrated with the aim of raising awareness among girls about the importance of information and communication technologies, in order to encourage girls to think about a career in the sector of information and communication technologies.​
