This day aims to develop girl students awareness about ICT careers available for those who are interested in studying ICT majors. As preparation to this event at UCAS, an initiative will be launched one month before the girls in ICT day, that aims to increase awareness about the event and will include a public tech information competition directed to girls in high schools ,college ,university, Institutions and technology incubators. This competition will last for one month. At the Girls in ICT day celebration, 5 winners will be selected, announced and honored. During the event, many activities will take place. Successful female leaders working in ICT will be sharing their stories in dominating ICT and linking ICT to their life solutions to encourage the new young generation enhance their careers in information technology disciplines. Moreover, there will be technological workshops to test the general tech knowledge of the college and the high school students. This will increase the potential and social awareness about many positions in the sector will be set clear through a career advisory session. Also there will be a corner for a technological exhibition, which displays projects produced by girls in high schools , universities, Institutions and technological incubators . one project will be chosen by the crowd and announced to be the best
