The Venue was the Christ Church Foundation Secondary School. This was a career showcase event. Booths were set up by various companies, organizations, and individuals who work in the ICT sector. The idea was to have some sort of hands-on experience for the girls. For example, the Telecommunications Unit of the Barbados Government had a booth displaying spectrum management equipment where the girls were given the opportunity to operate some of the devices. The Spectrum Management Mobile vehicle was also on display. There was a meet-up type event where the students had a chance to mingle with women who work in the sector in a more relaxed environment. They interacted with the students, answered questions, and spoke about their experience working in ICT.
