"Banjul, The Gambia", 2016, April 28​​

The Gambia will be holding a two-Day event on the Girls in ICT Day. There will be a workshop on the28th of April 2016, celebrating Girls in ICT Day. A web design competition will also take place on the same day for a number of 9 female particpants have been chosen for a web-design competition. The winners of the web-design competition will go home with prices and internships. Leading women in the ICT sector in The Gambia will be invited to the workshop to talk to the girls and young women There will also be a JobFair on the 29th of April 2016 as part of the celebrations, whereby Top ICT institutions in The Gambia will be attending to interact with the students and potential employees.
