On the occasion of Girls in ICT Day 2014, Women and ICT was the theme for the seventh edition of the radio program called "El Cafè de las Telecos". This is a monthly activity that aims to promote and disseminate the information technology and communication in society. In radio talk format, Telecos.cat produces this half-hour program where experts from different fields analyze a single topic related to ICT and how these are transforming the world. 

The seventh edition focuses on the role of women in an industry largely occupied by men and emphasized the need to promote studies related to this field among the younger girls. ​

The radio talk included women role models in local ICT sector such as Catherine Grimalt (Computer engineer, CIO of the Port of Barcelona) , Ana Belén de Sousa (Project Manager of Communications & STIs in AUDING & INTRAESA) and Macarena Palau (Product Engineering Senior Developer at VozTelecom).​​​​
