Under the honorary presidency of Guinean Minister of Posts, Telecommunications and New Information Technologies (MPTNTI), Mr. Oye GUILAVOGUI,  the Regulatory Authority for Post and Telecommunications (ARPT) , 2015 Edition of "Girls in ICT”, was  celebrated on Thursday, April 23, at Camayenne Palm Hotel.
Mrs Martine Condé, President of the High Authority of Communication in Guinea and guest honor of the Day, through her various interventions enhanced the event and capture the attention of more than hundred high school students, academics and teachers, present at the meeting.

Also there was the presence of the Minister of Social Affairs, Promotion of Women and Children as well as representatives of the Guinean Educational system.

In this Day Program, a Round Table was moderated by 2 women engineers in ICT who have brilliantly demonstrated by their different presentations the importance of choosing a career in this field.

To encourage girls to focus on the ICT, a draw will allow girls and a teacher to receive laptops.

Finally, the celebration of this day, which took place in a climate of friendliness and good humor, has enabled girls and women present to understand that in the Information Technology sector and Communication (ICT) may ensure a brilliant career.
