 Women in Telecoms and Technology (WiTT) co-hosted an event at Campus London with Google's women@campus and Hackney MP Meg Hillier. The evening brought together women of achievement in the technology sector with local female sixth formers from schools in Hackney. The main goal of the event was to help equip young women from Hackney with the networking skills they need to pursue their career goals and enable them to meet inspiring women in interesting careers so that they could learn what options are open to them. We were also thrilled to have Belinda Parmar of Lady Geek say a few words about women in technology and her Little Miss Geek campaign.
