Summary:
|
With the enhancement of IMT-2020 network, the network is becoming increasingly complex, and the features attached to the network are also increasing. We need to improve the flexibility of interfaces and protocol stacks while keeping functionality and architecture. The interface protocol stack should support diversity choice and flexible combination. To align with flexible features and diverse service requirements, we suggest to research the protocol negotiation mechanism in IMT-2020 network and beyond, to support different protocols stack such as FTP/HTTP/RDMA for efficient and fast data transmission.
In order to support a negotiable protocol stack, this new technical report will research protocol enhancement for protocol negotiation mechanism in IMT-2020 networks and beyond, and aims to address the signalling requirements, protocol procedures and message format for protocol negotiation.
