This Recommendation describes a functional architecture for big data provenance. To provide the functional architecture for big data provenance, the big data provenance functions are defined based on the functional requirements and logical components identified in [ITU-T Y.3602]. This Recommendation also provides the relationship between the functional architecture of big data provenance and the big data reference architecture in [ITU-T Y.3605].
