Summary: In C364, a method that considers the incorporation of basic wireless network parameters into the E-model algorithm is proposed, which was determined using a general theoretical network scenario. The main purpose of this study item is to incorporate additional parameters used in more realistic networks that are based on standards. To accomplish this purpose, it is expected to determine: key radio frequency parameters, key system parameters, and main technologies used to improve the transmission robustness, such as MIMO systems, FEC codes, among others. Then, all these wireless network parameters will be used to determine quantitatively their impact in terms of Ppl; thus, only the effective equipment impairment factor, Ie,eff , will be modified, and the remaining of impairment factors will not be affected. It is import to highlight that the E-model algorithm should not have significant changes.
