Subject/title: Shared use of spectrum and telecommunication infrastructure as possible methods for enhancing the efficiency of telecommunications
Summary: Purpose: In recent years, emerged new radio technologies, increased number of mobile users, raised consumer demand for telecommunication services and constantly growing traffic have led to a tendency of appearance of some problems in telecommunication field as lack of unoccupied radio spectrum, increasing of capital and operational expenses of telecommunication operators, unprofitability of ensuring coverage of telecommunication services for remote and rural settlements. In near future these problems lead to raising the tariffs for telecommunication services and that fact brings to the necessity of development the new regulatory methods of spectrum and telecommunication infrastructure management. One of a method is implementing the principle of shared use of spectrum and telecommunication infrastructure by telecommunication operators. That regulatory measure by the help of reducing the shortage of spectrum and savings of operators can result in significant lowering the telecommunication tariffs for customers.
