Subject/title: Advanced video coding for generic audiovisual services
Summary: This revised Recommendation ITU T H.264 "Advanced video coding" includes an extension to specify multi-resolution frame-compatible (MFC) stereoscopic video with depth maps, including the specification of an additional profile, the MFC Depth High profile, and the mastering display colour volume SEI message, additional colour-related video usability information codepoint identifiers, and miscellaneous minor corrections and clarifications. It also contains a correction for Annex J (multiview and depth video with enhanced non-base view coding) to perform disparity vector derivation and sample prediction on macroblock partition basis for the non-skip/direct view synthesis prediction modes.
Comment: V10 adds support for additional levels and a profile for multi-resolution frame compatible coding with depth.
